The Artist: Claire Zeaman

Claire and I met in June 2010 in Ohio, where we were both collecting signatures on behalf of a ballot initiative to help factory-farmed animals in that state. Little did I know that Claire is an awesome illustrator and would soon execute the emblem for The Ethical Man.

Claire studied illustration at Parsons School of Design and has a degree in Art Education from Montclair State University, as well as a NJ Teaching Certification in Art. Her illustrations were published in the book Dog Walks Man by John Zeaman (her father), with whom she's currently working on a children's book called The Unclever Fox.
